Swiss Medtech Romandie

As part of its organisational development, Swiss Medtech has decided to strengthen alternative: expand its presence in French-speaking Switzerland. To this end, a new regional office has been established to better represent the interests of the industry across the Romandie region.
The Vaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CVCI) has been appointed as Swiss Medtech’s regional partner to represent the association’s interests in Romandie with respect to the economy, politics, and the general public, while also serving as the regional point of contact for the MedTech sector.

MedTech Cluster in Western Switzerland

Thanks to an outstanding academic, industrial, and medical ecosystem, Western Switzerland plays a central role in the Swiss MedTech landscape. Supported by EPFL, the Universities of Applied Sciences, university hospitals, and a dynamic network of private healthcare institutions, the region fosters innovation, applied research, and technology transfer. The life sciences sector, where MedTech is a key pillar, continues to grow making a significant contribution to exports and highly skilled employment. The Western Switzerland cluster brings together several hundred companies, institutions, and clinical partners active in diagnostics, implantable devices, medical robotics, and digital health.
