Market Access and Reimbursement – The Basics
Join Swiss Medtech for an engaging and informative webinar on Market Access and Reimbursement in the Medtech sector, designed specifically for startups and SMEs. This session will unpack the essential – and often complex – aspects of developing a robust market access and reimbursement strategy for innovative medical technologies.
The webinar will be led by Meike Bomhof, a seasoned expert with over 30 years of experience in the Medtech industry, including 18 years dedicated specifically to market access and reimbursement. Drawing on her deep expertise, Meike will guide participants through a structured approach to strategy development, emphasizing how these foundations are critical to investor due diligence.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into how market access considerations impact product adoption, pricing models, and investment potential. Key topics will include the fundamentals of coverage, coding, and payment, as well as the pivotal role of clinical and economic evidence, including Health Technology Assessments (HTAs). Participants will also learn how to identify key stakeholders and formulate the right strategic questions – regardless of their target market. Meike will share her insights, lead the discussion, and welcome your questions throughout the session.
We invite you to submit any key questions during the registration process.
